Huma2 Midterm exam

1. After being exposed to different discipline in art, can you give your own definition of it?

My definition of  art is something that catches your eye and useful not something that you see in museums, though artworks at the museum looks good it doesn't have a purpose.

Dr. Jose Rizal Created the artwork symbolizing the martyrdom  and the exploitation of the indios by the colonizers. 


3. Based on your experience in observing artwork in national museum, how would you describe filipino artistry?
1. Filipino artist put deep meanings to their artworks, not just something to impress the observers.
2. Filipino artist tends to add their emotion while working with they're arts.
3. They often include they're selves in their arts
4. Only few Filipino artists do functional arts.
5. Most Filipino artist do paintings.


4. Of all artwork that you have observed, what artwork best describe your personality?
 1. You cant understand the art by just looking at it you need to ask to fully understand the art.
      this symbolizes me because you wouldn't understand me unless you talk to me.
2. The art work it self is messy.
       this applies to me. MESSY you can see it by just looking  LOL
3. the art work doesn't get your attention but will make you curious.
       i dont get much attention, but people ask "whats wrong with you?"
4. doesnt have a deep meaning
      yes exactly what i am.
